Public Works Director Greg told the council that roughly 62.5% of property owners in the block requested paving and that the engineer's estimate for the work is $19,875.60, which equates to about $31.06 per foot for assessed property owners. Greg said the property owners are responsible for paying the assessment.
The council adopted the resolution accepting the petition and ordered the feasibility report; the council later accepted the feasibility report and called a public hearing on the project so affected property owners can comment on cost and scope.
