The board also approved a Mid State bid to replace gutter and downspout at Pleasant Valley Elementary for a project cost not to exceed $60,500. Administration said formal bid openings were held and presented results to the board.
The board approved purchases for scoreboard and shot-clock replacement through Institutional Specialties Inc., with total cost not to exceed $115,000 including contingency, to be paid from the capital reserve fund. Administration also announced a sponsorship agreement: Reliance Bank will contribute $10,000 per year for 10 years to purchase and install the new scoreboards, shot clocks and video equipment; those contributions will be deposited to the capital reserve fund. Chair thanked Reliance Bank during discussion, saying the district appreciated the commitment.
