The commission approved a recommendation to approve the final plat for Marty's Acres, a four-lot commercial plat at 2577 US Highway 10, during its March 27 meeting.
Staff outlined conditions: the owner must determine and provide how assessments will be divided before the city sets the final plat; there is no service lateral available for Lot 4 and the owner may need to tap directly into the city's water and sewer main at its own expense and may incur an assessment for the service line east of Lot 4 on Long Lake Road. With those conditions, staff recommended approval and the commission carried the motion by voice vote.
Next steps: the owner must provide assessment division details and address Lot 4 service connections before the city signs the final plat.
