RESOLUTION 04-07-02 — Road project contract award (SP 045-602-023): The board accepted the low bid from Agassiz Asphalt, LLC for $2,495,861.18 for bituminous milling, overlay and culvert work on CSAH 2 between CSAH 12 and MN TH 219, contingent on DBE approval from the Minnesota Department of Transportation EEO Office. Motion recorded Bring/Kiesow; vote carried 4-0.
RESOLUTION 04-07-03 — Warren Snocat Club sponsorship: The board agreed to act as legal sponsor and fiscal agent for a Minnesota DNR funding application for snowmobile and cross-country ski trail maintenance managed by the Warren Snocat Club; sponsorship continues until rescinded. Motion recorded Bring/Nybladh; vote carried 4-0.
RESOLUTION 04-07-04 — Cancel lost warrant: The board directed cancellation of lost warrant #345180 (dated Feb. 3, 2026) issued to Auto Value for $1,271.42 and authorized reissuance without bond. Motion recorded Nybladh/Kiesow; vote carried 4-0.
Other approvals and directions: the board approved the purchase of two laptops for the Assessor’s Office for $5,367.60 and accepted a quote to caulk the courthouse exterior from Sticky Construction Inc. for $42,800 during Open Forum. The board also approved sending a letter to local legislators supporting continued state investment in the Clay County Psychiatric Residential Treatment and Non-Secure Juvenile Facility Project.
No contested roll-call votes were recorded; actions were carried by voice vote notation and shown in meeting minutes as 4-0 unless otherwise noted.
