Marshall County adopts 2026–2030 Five-Year Road & Bridge plan, moves Donnelly/Eagle Point bridge to 2028

The Marshall County Board of Commissioners on April 21 adopted a revised Five-Year Road & Bridge Construction Program for 2026–2030 and approved several related highway and drainage actions.
County Highway Engineer Lon Aune presented the plan and the board approved changes that move the Donnelly/Eagle Point bridge replacement into the 2028 construction year. The Board adopted Resolution 04-21-03 approving the five-year plan; the motion carried unanimously (M/S/C Nybladh, Duckstad; 5-0).
The Board also discussed motor grader warranty matters but recorded no formal action on the warranty. It approved a $18,500 space-needs assessment for the Highway Department from Widseth Architects (M/S/C Nybladh, Kiesow; 5-0) to inform future facility planning.
During the meeting the Board recessed into the Ditch Authority and approved a cleaning request for County Ditch 45, Branch 4 — approximately one-half mile in Section 25 of Tamarac Township — with funding and procedural matters discussed as part of the ditch authority session (M/S/C Nybladh, Bring; 5-0). County Engineer Aune said he is awaiting correspondence from attorney John Kolb on the related JD 19 project.
