The board approved Resolution No. 2026-072 authorizing payment of Audio Designs Incorporated invoice #35403 in the amount of $5,773.00 from the Squad Replacement Fund to outfit Squad #12920, a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado (VIN 3GCUK4ED9SG338221).
The board authorized disposal of obsolete sheriff’s office equipment under Resolution No. 2026-073; the list included a Zoll AED Plus defibrillator (Asset tag #011945), a lightbar (Asset tag #010500), two GETAC B300 vehicle docks (Asset tags #012039 and #012329), a single-cell vehicle partition (Asset tag #012326) and a Havis 17 console (value under $500, squad 12315). Under Resolution No. 2026-074 the board donated a LifePak CR 2 AED (Serial #50756264; Fixed Asset #012862), received through a training grant, to Greenfield Township. The minutes record that the donation was adopted unanimously.
Commissioners also received staff updates, including remarks from Lisa Dierks (Extension/4-H) and Shawn Huth (Human Resources), and the administrator announced employee anniversaries for Vicki Broxson (Dispatch, 20 years), Ashley Lang (Public Health, 10 years) and Darrin Thompson (Zoning, 30 years). The Auditor/Treasurer was directed to appoint Bob Walkes and Don Springer to the Canvas Board. The meeting concluded after commissioner reports and board concerns; a motion to recess/adjourn, moved by Commissioner Key and seconded by Commissioner Walkes, was adopted unanimously.
