At its April 22 meeting the Medford Area Public School District Board of Education approved a series of finance, personnel and facilities measures while rejecting a proposal to discontinue the district’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
A finance motion to end the EAP as of July 1 drew a roll call vote and failed 4–5. Yes votes were recorded from John Zuleger, Brian Hallgren, Don Everhard and Steve Deml. No votes came from Jodi Nuernberger, President Dave Fleegel, Aemus Balsis, Corey Dassow and Kurt Werner.
