Holy Apostles Cemetery confirmed as historic landmark; commission to coordinate corrections for four other landmarks

Chairperson Orzel told the commission on Oct. 16 that, after meeting with a Waukesha County Department of Administration representative and on the recommendation of the City Assessor, records from the City Clerk's Office confirm Holy Apostles Cemetery as a historic landmark, citing City Council minutes from April 8, 2014.
Orzel and Vice-Chairperson Ament said they will coordinate with county and city officials to correct documentation for four additional landmarks: the Lindsay-Murphy-Heinz-Sisson Farm, the Luthi Family Barn, Elger's Red Bell Market and the Cutler-Kern-Kimball Farmstead. The commission will report progress on those corrections at its next meeting.
Commissioner Tyskiewicz also reported turning over a folder of documents related to the Racine Avenue Reconstruction to the New Berlin Historical Society and providing maps of historic-district locations to commissioners.
