"The rules that are in place right now are there for a reason... long time ago there was no rules about Wednesday, Tuesday players playing in each league," Chilito said, describing the evolution of roster rules and his view that those rules have improved playability and sportsmanship.
The board later discussed ejection and suspension procedures (including 10‑day suspensions for severe incidents and park‑board hearings for appeals) during a related agenda item.
