On April 9, Ray County commissioners accepted the bid from Victory Technology for purchase and installation of security cameras for county‑owned buildings.
Commissioner Max Hockemeier moved to accept the bid; Presiding Commissioner Sheila Tracy seconded and the motion carried 2‑0. County staff explained funding: cameras installed inside the Ray County Courthouse will be paid from the court system fund as designated by the county judges; exterior courthouse cameras and cameras at other county buildings will be paid from the County’s Capital Improvement fund.
The acceptance authorizes the county to proceed with contracting and installation under the terms of the accepted bid. No contract amount was announced in the meeting minutes.
