Council members noted that, per program rules discussed at the hearing, any funding awarded must be a direct result of flooding to qualify.

Councilmember Jennifer Harper moved to close the hearing at 6:16 p.m.; Councilmember Tiffany Burgess seconded the motion and it carried with all members voting aye.
The council subsequently approved a related funding application as a separate agenda action during the same meeting. Additional written comments for the public record will be accepted through March 26 and become part of the application packet to state reviewers.
