The Gulf Shores City Council on Feb. 23, 2026 approved a series of resolutions, contracts and permits addressing school construction, transportation design and local business licensing.
Change Order No. 3: The council adopted Resolution No. 7087 authorizing Change Order No. 3 with Rabren Construction for the new Gulf Shores High School in an amount not to exceed $751,289. According to the resolution, the funds cover courtyard hardscape and furnishings, expansion of the exceptional-education playground, an upgraded practice-pavilion playing surface, long-term preventative maintenance for the storm shelter, and improved HVAC access for maintenance.
