Chester County Council adopts 2025 Comprehensive Plan and approves a slate of ordinances and zoning actions

Council completed the third reading and adoption of Ordinance 2026-07 (Chester County 2025 Comprehensive Plan) after a motion by Councilman William Killian and second by Vice Chair Erin Mosley; the vote was 7-0. The agenda also listed and approved by third reading Ordinance 2026-06, authorizing the transfer of roughly 5.259 acres on Doctors Court (county TMS Nos. 080-03-03-031, 080-03-03-029, 080-03-03-025), and several zoning items carried on the consent agenda.

Consent items included: the third reading of Ordinance 2026-06 (property transfer), the third reading and adoption of Ordinance 2026-07 (Comprehensive Plan), CCMA26-01 (Thomas W. Clark rezoning request, Tax Map #104-00-00-084-000), and CCTA26-01 (zoning text amendment regarding landfills).
