Rockville council approves agenda, minutes and February finances; hears staff and council reports

The Rockville Town Council completed routine business at its March 11 meeting, approving the night’s agenda, the Feb. 11 minutes and the town’s February expenditures and financial statements.
Council member Jeff moved to approve the agenda and a second was recorded; the council approved the motion by roll call. Council member Jeff later moved to approve the Feb. 11 minutes; that motion passed on roll call. Council approved February expenditures after a motion from Robin and a second, and approved the town’s February financial statements after a motion and second. Each vote was recorded as an affirmative roll call vote.
Council members also used the meeting to report local operational items: Council member Jeff reported a six-hour cleanup assisted by six inmates and ongoing cemetery maintenance; Megan updated the council on the Southern Utah Air Quality Task Force’s pause in meetings and the issue of uncovered truckloads; Robin described ongoing volunteer efforts to find a lost golden retriever. Mayor and staff noted preparations for Rockville’s 250th anniversary and a staff appreciation breakfast for the postmaster.
"I move for approval," Council member Jeff said when presenting the agenda for a vote. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn and a unanimous roll-call vote to close the session.
