Harrison Central board approves Southwest BOCES 2026–27 administrative budget, elects three trustees

Harrison Central School District Board Chair opened the April 21, 2026 regular business meeting and said the purpose of the session was to approve the Southwest BOCES 2026–27 estimated administrative budget and to elect BOCES trustees.
"This meeting is to approve the BOCES budget and election of their trustees," the Chair said. Michelle conducted the roll call, after which the board considered the administrative report as a consent package that included the budget estimate and trustee elections.
The board moved and seconded approval of the administrative report; members approved the motion by voice vote with board members responding "Aye." The consent items named the Southwest BOCES 2026–27 estimated administrative budget and the election/approval of trustees Cheryl Brady, Nilesh Jain and Nan Eileen Mead.
No members of the public came forward during the public comment period. The Chair announced the next regular business meeting is scheduled for May 6, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Lewis M. Klein Middle School. The board adjourned shortly afterward.
