The Addison Planning & Zoning Commission approved its consent agenda and the 2025 annual report during a regular meeting on Feb. 17.
Commissioners moved to approve the consent agenda with an amendment to correct how Chelsea’s earlier role was described in the minutes. A member moved the motion, it was seconded and the presiding officer called the vote; the motion passed unanimously.
Later, staff presented the commission’s 2025 annual report, noting prior feedback and a small set of changes. Staff asked that the report be approved with conditions to ensure consistent usage of the comprehensive plan name — Advance Addison 2050 — throughout the document and to increase the size of legend boxes on one slide for legibility. A motion to approve the report with those clarifications was moved, seconded and approved unanimously.
Staff said the report will be presented to the city council at a future work session once the adjustments are made.
