At its Feb. 24 meeting the Dale County Commission approved personnel actions including travel and a new hire.
Commissioner Adam Enfinger moved to approve education travel for Sheila Waller, Brandy Lavender and Nathan Ivey to the 2026 district meeting (March 4–5, 2026 in Clanton) and to hire Cynthia Figueroa as a custodian in the Maintenance department; Commissioner Donald O. Grantham seconded and the vote was unanimous.
The minutes list the travel approvals and identify Cynthia Figueroa as a new custodian in Maintenance. The minutes do not record salary, effective date or further hiring conditions.
