Staff also said it would provide an analysis of other late‑night businesses in the area and that the applicant will be present at the regular meeting; no formal vote occurred during the work session.
Commissioners asked whether most area restaurants already operate past 11 p.m.; staff said closing at 11 p.m. is common but some chains remain open until midnight. Staff told commissioners it will bring additional analysis about comparable late‑night operations to the regular meeting.
