The Tazewell County Community Policy and Management Team met Sept. 22, 2025 and took several routine administrative actions: members approved the Aug. 25 meeting minutes and both the August Fiscal Year 2025 and Fiscal Year 2026 financial reports. Robin Jackson moved to approve both financial reports; motions were seconded and recorded as passed unanimously in the minutes.
The CPMT also approved the Safe & Stable Funds report for Aug. 31, 2025 after a motion by David Taylor. Members reviewed Medicaid billings for the fiscal year ending June 2025 for Tazewell County that had been included in the meeting packet. The Office of Children's Services (OCS) comparison report by service placement type for Buchanan, Russell and Tazewell counties was discussed; members compared the numbers of children served by locality.
Members reviewed the Office of Children's Services October 2025 training calendar and were reminded that the OCS Virtual CSA Academy learning series requires registration. The agenda packet included a handout on recruiting and retaining parent members; Roberta Boyd reported she has not yet connected with Janet Wilson, a potential parent representative, due to scheduling conflicts but will continue outreach.
On scheduling, members agreed to move the regular November meeting from Nov. 24, 2025 to Nov. 17, 2025; Robin Jackson moved for the date change and David Taylor seconded. The CPMT adjourned at 11:45 a.m.; its next regular meeting is set for Oct. 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
