County clerk Jennifer Dayton presented a proposal to finish deployment of election equipment at polling locations. Dayton said the total purchase cost is $29,070; $25,000 is available in the election-equipment fund and the remaining $4,070 will come from the technology fund. The package includes machines, warranty and post-warranty maintenance and support fees.
A commissioner asked whether warranty and support were included; Dayton confirmed warranty and maintenance fees were included in the total. Chair moved and a commissioner seconded a motion to approve the expenditure; the commission voted by voice and the motion carried.
