Local nonprofit seeks Citizen of the Year nominations and will host community needs forum

The award will be presented at a public dinner on Wednesday, May 6 at the Parade Memorial Golf Club, featuring keynote speaker Karen Lambert, president of Barrington's Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
Leeland also said, in partnership with the Barrington Area Community Foundation and the Barrington Rotary Club, his organization will host the Barrington Area Community Needs Forum on Saturday, April 11 at Barrington's White House. He encouraged residents to attend the forum, which aims to gather community input to inform future focus areas, and said informational cards with deadlines and web resources were available.
