Marshall County accepts $1.24 million E and B Paving bid for 2026 Community Crossings project

Jason, representing the highway department, told the board the low bid was E and B Paving for $1,243,322.95. A commissioner moved to accept the bid; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The board authorized execution of the contract acceptance page for the county and instructed county officers to sign the agreement with E and B Paving.
Jason also told commissioners they would sign any acceptance letter required by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and that signatures on the acceptance page could be completed by county officials as part of the administrative process.
Next steps: staff will finalize the contract documents and return required signatures. The county will proceed with the Community Crossings project consistent with INDOT guidance and the awarded bid.
