The Emmet County Board of Supervisors adopted the FY27 county budget on April 21, 2026, approving Resolution 26-15 after a public hearing that produced no public comment. Jeff Quastad moved to adopt the resolution and Tim Schumacher seconded; the roll-call vote recorded all five supervisors — Schumacher, Glasnapp, Pluth, Quastad and Chair Lisa Hansen — voting aye.
County Auditor Heidi Goebel said the full text of Resolution 26-15 is available in the Auditor’s Office and on emmetcountyia.gov. The board opened and closed the public hearing during the same meeting; Quastad moved to close the hearing with Glasnapp seconding and the motion carried on a roll-call vote with all ayes.
The vote finalizes county spending priorities for fiscal year 2027 and advances budget documents the county will submit to state authorities as required. No amendments or public objections were recorded at the hearing. The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled April 28, when several tabled items will return to the agenda.
