Board of Adjustment schedules May public hearing after court remand in Ardell erosion-control case
Summary
After a circuit-court reversal and remand on an after-the-fact erosion-control permit, the Sheboygan County Board of Adjustment agreed April 15 to table action and hold a new public hearing on May 20, 2026 for Case No. R-24-01-E and requested additional materials by May 11.

The Sheboygan County Board of Adjustment on April 15 deferred action on Case No. R-24-01-E (an after-the-fact erosion-control/permit matter involving Korry Ardell) after counsel said the circuit court reversed the earlier board decision and remanded the case for further consideration under specified provisions of the county code. Attorney Douglas Rose appeared in place of Attorney Schlavinsky and made a procedural record about the remand.
Board members indicated they wanted the parties to be heard at a formal public hearing rather than decide the matter at the April meeting. The board voted to table consideration and set a public hearing for May 20, 2026, and Attorney Kelly Del Ponte requested that Attorney Rose (on behalf of the petitioner) submit all additional materials to the board by May 11 so they can be included in the hearing packet.
The board took no final action on R-24-01-E at the April 15 meeting and adjourned after scheduling the May hearing.
