Property Committee hears museum and campus updates, approves ADRC banner and routine business

Sheboygan County Property Committee briefing: At its April 14, 2026 meeting the Sheboygan County Property Committee received several facility and campus updates from Building Services Director Kevin Dulmes and took a handful of routine actions.
Facility updates: Director Kevin Dulmes reported that two new boilers and a humidifier have been installed at the county museum and that a replacement rooftop unit is expected to be delivered soon. Dulmes also informed the committee of significant erosion within Bookworm Gardens last fall; Transportation and Planning departments are assisting where appropriate to reduce cost and explore funding options.
University campus and leasing: Dulmes said a grant request related to the University of Wisconsin—aculty: Green Bay —ampus in Sheboygan has been tentatively approved. He also updated the committee on a request for proposals (RFP) and proposed lease changes for the Fine Arts and Gymnasium buildings; the minutes do not include lease terms or grant amounts.
Sign posting at ADRC: Director Dulmes presented a request to hang a World Elder Abuse Awareness banner at the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). Supervisor John Nelson moved to approve the banner; Supervisor Brian Smith seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
Routine business and votes: The committee approved the March 24, 2026 meeting minutes (moved by Supervisor Nelson, seconded by Supervisor Arndt) and approved vouchers as presented (moved by Supervisor Smith, seconded by Supervisor Jensen), each by 5-0 votes. The meeting adjourned at 5:17 p.m.
