Putnam Development Authority delays marketing contract review, asks for additional bids

He recommended issuing a request for proposals and selecting a vendor on a performance basis rather than solely on price. Member Mylle Mangum supported seeking other quotes and asked that each board member review the Tytan Pictures proposal and forward comments to Economic Development Director Matt Poyner, who will consolidate comments for negotiations. The board set March 31, 2026 as the deadline for member comments.
No contract award or negotiation outcome was recorded in the minutes. The authority asked staff to collect comments and to prepare for a competitive procurement or negotiated selection process to be considered at a future meeting.
