Tazewell CPMT retroactively approves Grafton education invoices; OCS reiterates CSA limits

Background: the CMCSB worker reported that she had notified Grafton in June that the youth would age out in July and requested that Grafton enter waiver information in the WAMS system so a waiver could assume responsibility. Because the youth retained an IEP through February 2025, committee members concluded the local school division should have retained case management responsibility and CSA educational responsibility should have continued until that time.
The committee directed that any room-and-board liability remain a local funding question. No further details on payments or amounts were provided at the meeting.
