TAC approves minutes, hears CCRPC board updates and grant deadlines

At its June 3 meeting the Transportation Advisory Committee unanimously approved the May 6 minutes, received a CCRPC Board report about FY26 UPWP and budget approval, and heard announcements including a Vermont Rail Plan public meeting (June 9) and SS4A NOFO with a June 26 deadline.
The Transportation Advisory Committee approved the minutes from its May 6, 2025 meeting by unanimous vote after a motion by Sam Andersen and a second from Chris Yuen.
Staff reported highlights from the May CCRPC Board meeting, including Board approval of the FY26 UPWP and budget, TIP amendments, updates on the 2026 State Transportation Capital Program and Act 181 implementation, and ECOS Plan items. Staff also reminded members about the final public meeting on the Vermont Rail Plan update scheduled for June 9 (in Montpelier or virtually) and that comments on the draft Rail Plan are due by June 17, 2025.
Other announcements included Local Motion’s Complete Streets open office hours, Vermont DEC Rivers & Roads training opportunities, ADA and Title VI one‑pagers for local agencies, a Clear Roads synthesis on in‑house brine‑making practices, and a note that USDOT discretionary grant guidance remains uncertain pending administrative review. Staff flagged the FY2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program with a June 26, 2025 application deadline.
The TAC scheduled its next meeting for Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 9:00 AM and adjourned at 10:00 AM.
