The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) Executive Committee on June 4 ratified a Section 248 letter supporting Bolton Valley Resort’s request to extend hours for its mountain-biking facility.
Planning Program Director Taylor Newton summarized the application and told the committee that "no issues were identified with the letter as drafted." Commissioner Andy Montroll moved to approve the letter; Catherine McMains seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
The ratification means the CCRPC will submit the approved letter as its formal response to the Section 248/Act 250 filing for Bolton Valley Resort (case referenced in the minutes as 4C0436-32C). Staff did not raise technical or procedural objections during the discussion and the committee took no amendments to the draft.
The committee's approval is limited to the contents of the draft letter; any future changes to the proposal or additional filings would be considered on their own record. The committee proceeded to other agenda items following the vote.
