County HHS recognized staff for 'We Care About Kids' event that served 322 children

Barrett Spores, McLeod County health and human services director, reported on the recent "We Care About Kids" event, saying the child protection team and partner agencies worked to serve families and that the county received a commendation letter from Detective Sergeant Billy Crowell praising the child protection staff and recommending recognition for Ally Pink and the child protection team.
Spores said the event had about 322 children attending and noted parents also participated. Commissioners and other officials thanked HHS staff and volunteers for organizing the event and for coordinating across the sheriff’s office and county attorney’s office.
