The Orange County Board of Commissioners at its April 21 meeting certified the record of proceedings from April 16, approved department requisitions and accepted the county's annual Emergency Management Professional grant, the chair reported.
Each item was moved, seconded and approved on recorded roll-call votes. The on-the-record roll calls recorded affirmative responses for the commissioners announced as 'Mister Myers,' 'Mister Banks' and 'Mister Barrow' (or as announced in the roll call for that motion). The board did not record any 'No' votes in these actions.
On the Emergency Management Professional grant, the chair noted the award amount was approximately $55,537 and that it was roughly $3,000 less than the figure used in the county's annual budget projection. A commissioner observed the shortfall relative to the budget estimate; the board approved accepting the grant as presented.
With no other business, the chair adjourned the meeting.
