Emmet County approves annual drainage assessments for multiple districts, 4–1 vote
Summary

Supervisor Todd Glasnapp moved to adopt the listed assessments for the identified drainage districts; Supervisor John Pluth seconded. The board voted 4–1 in favor, with Supervisor Jeff Quastad voting no.
Assessments were read for a large set of districts; examples included 44 Main Ditch (District 10244) assessed at $25,000; District 10322 assessed at $20,603.93; District 10080 assessed at $13,000; and several smaller branch and lateral districts assessed in amounts ranging from $1,277.10 to $16,230.71. The meeting record states a $5 minimum parcel fee applies to all drainage assessments and a $5 administration fee applies to all reclassifications and main drainage districts.
The board passed the motion to levy the assessments. The Auditor’s Office will carry the assessments forward for billing and recordkeeping.
