Emmet County board approves $800,158.51 in vendor payments, adopts year‑end transfer resolution

Auditor Heidi Goebel presented the claims and vendor list, which included significant line items such as Christensen Construction ($270,296.00), Ten Point Construction ($182,852.52), Alpha Wireless ($150,000.00), Sydaptic ($50,000.00) and Ziegler ($36,507.82). The board moved and unanimously approved the payments.
The board also adopted Resolution 25‑22, a fiscal‑year‑end departmental appropriation transfer that, among other adjustments, moves $5,000 from Public Health Department 23 to Environmental Health Department 58. The resolution was adopted by roll call and attested by Auditor Heidi Goebel.
Chair Lisa Hansen noted routine committee updates and a public‑forum update from Supervisor John Pluth about Public Health HVAC work and upcoming staff conference attendance. The board approved minutes from its June 17 meeting and the day's agenda before taking the claims vote.
The county clerk’s office retains the full claims list and vendors; the auditor indicated a full copy of the claims register is available in the Auditor’s Office.
