The Village President and Board of Trustees of Fox River Grove approved the consent agenda on Dec. 3, 2024, including five levy ordinances and routine minutes and financial items. Trustee Devin Hester moved approval; Trustee Jennifer Curtiss seconded and a roll‑call vote was unanimous (Curtiss, Hester, Knar, Migdal, Schladt, Wall all "yes").
The consent package included: Ordinance 2024‑12 (Gardner Terrace Special Service Area levy), Ordinance 2024‑13 (Picnic Grove Special Service Area levy), Ordinance 2024‑14 (Hunters Farm Special Service Area levy), Ordinance 2024‑15 (Talon Special Service Area levy), and Ordinance 2024‑16 (Corporate Tax Levy). The consent agenda also covered meeting minutes from Nov. 5 and Nov. 12, executive session minutes from Nov. 5, accounts payable for Nov. 19 and Dec. 3, and the Treasurer’s Report for October 2024.
Board approval means the Village finalized those levy ordinances and the corporate tax levy as presented on the consent agenda; the motion passed by recorded roll call. No amendments or separate votes were recorded for individual ordinances in the meeting minutes.
The trustees did not discuss changes to the listed levies on the record; the board moved them forward as a group under the consent agenda. The next regular board meeting will provide another opportunity for members or the public to request separate consideration if desired.
