Ayers described the plan as a county-coordinated effort to identify hazards and mitigation strategies; the staff presentation referenced the county webpage for the LHMP and asked stakeholders to review and submit comments through the county’s established process. The briefing was informational and no formal council action was recorded on the LHMP at the meeting.
Councilmembers acknowledged receipt of the presentation and encouraged public participation in the comment period.
