Commissioners used a "learning and growth" agenda segment to explain how they prepare for meetings: several said they read the staff packet, perform site visits, and focus on technical items such as drainage, pedestrian connectivity and consistency with master-plan goals. A commissioner noted attention to affordable-housing implications when weighing development proposals.
The meeting closed with event announcements for a May 3 Godwin Mercado farmers market and a reminder of attendance availability for the next meeting.
Next steps: staff will forward the reaffirmation to City Council as required by process and continue routine master-plan implementation tasks.
