Board members noted orange flags marking the proposed work; Oponski and Berhow said they observed the flags and Clark said she could see safety concerns. No written correspondence was entered and no members of the public spoke at the podium.
Kirby Berhow moved to vote and Susan Clark seconded. The recorded vote listed Ashland, Clark, Oponski and Berhow in favor and the motion passed 4-0.
The variance allows the property owner to move forward with the three-season porch enclosure; staff indicated permitting steps will follow. The meeting record does not specify additional conditions or an appeal timeline.
