The Board of Equalization approved minutes from 04/14/2026 and set a hearing on certified assessment corrections for Tuesday, 04/28/2026 (motion by Commissioner Morgan; motion passed 6–0). The Board of Commissioners approved minutes from 04/14/2026 and claims processed through 04/21/2026 (motion passed 6–0). The consent agenda was moved with item c removed for separate consideration; after discussion the consent motion (minus item c) passed 6–0.
Colleen Frederickson of human resources presented the 2026 administrative services agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska; she said it is a one-year agreement through Dec. 31 with administrative/compensation fees that were presented previously in October. No separate objection was recorded.
Later in the meeting the board voted to move into executive session for litigation and legal advice; the motion passed 6–0, recording stopped, and the meeting reconvened briefly before adjourning at 10:54 a.m.
