Grant County board schedules liquor-license hearing, approves cleaning contract and operating guidelines

Tina said the county auditor requested the board set a public hearing at the May 5 meeting so the office can publish two weeks' notice. The board approved the hearing request by voice vote.
The board also approved separating the highway department's cleaning services into a standalone contract with Wagner Enterprises at the same cost and service levels previously in place. A motion to approve the contract carried by voice vote.
Finally, the board approved the Grant County operating guidelines as the county's reference for conducting business. The board also approved routine items including minutes and warrants by voice vote earlier in the meeting.
