Commissioners emphasized that procurement and delivery are a multi-year process and asked the EMS committee to produce a formal schedule and recommendation so the board can confirm the county's order of purchases and funding priorities. One commissioner said the designation is a dedication of funds pending delivery rather than an immediate cash disbursement.
