Conservation staff reports Ridge Hill improvements: bluebird boxes, new signs and a map

Staff reported installation of nine bluebird boxes by Minuteman Regional Vocational Tech carpentry students, upcoming sign production and a new static Ridge Hill map for commission review.
At the end of the April 23 meeting, town staff provided updates on Ridge Hill conservation work. Tim said carpentry students from Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School installed nine bluebird boxes; environmental science students will monitor them. Staff also reported signs are being quoted and printed and that a new static map of Ridge Hill trails is in development with GIS; a draft map will be circulated to commissioners for ground-truthing next week.
The commission heard additional miscellaneous updates on upcoming town meeting articles and property-acquisition funding and then adjourned.
