Storey County approved a master services agreement and scope of work with Utility Service Company Inc for long‑term maintenance and rehabilitation of the county’s seven water tanks. Jason Worsbicki presented the agreement, saying it would return tanks to a near‑new status and provide predictable payments for future maintenance. The DA's office reviewed the agreement and staff brought it forward for board approval.
Commissioner Mitchell moved to approve the master services agreement and scope of work; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously. Staff indicated the agreement would benefit the water department by scheduling regular maintenance and rehabilitation work to avoid unexpected failures.
