The board also renewed the bridge-inspection contract with Chuck Britzen's firm, which has inspected county bridges since about 2007. Supervisors reviewed inspection focus areas—pile rot, concrete deterioration, scour and load-rating changes—and agreed the inspections feed into the county’s five-year capital plan and response priorities for high-flow or flood events.
