Director Lindsey Bennett told the board the district received 10 initial bids and four best‑and‑final offers and that the committee judged Medica the best option.
Board members praised the committee''s work. Laura said she was confident the district had secured a strong rate and Jessica thanked the committee while acknowledging that switching providers can affect employees.
The vote was taken by voice and the motion carried. The administration will complete transition steps before the July 1 effective date.
