The commission discussed scheduling a tour of the pool and related support facilities so commissioners can inspect pool equipment, pump rooms and locker rooms. Commissioners said the facility has expanded training opportunities for local swimmers and water-polo athletes and noted the pool’s regional importance for competitive events.
