The member moved to publicize the policy via a Friday letter and district channels; the clerk and administration confirmed Friday letters and ParentSquare will reach the public, and administration noted the information is already posted on the website and that several diplomas have already been issued under the revised requirements. The committee voted to approve and file the notice and to ask communications staff to highlight the opportunity on social channels and the website.
Officials said the district will work with the chief communications officer to include the information in the superintendent's Friday letter and continue outreach through FACE and community partners.
