Floyd County board certifies closed session topics, praises staff and adjourns

The Floyd County Board voted to certify that the matters discussed in a recent closed session were the public-business topics identified in the motion that convened that closed meeting, then continued with reports from county staff and adjourned by unanimous procedural vote.

The chair conducted a roll call to certify the closed session and asked each member to confirm that only the subjects described in the motion had been discussed. A committee member moved to certify; the motion was seconded and members responding to the roll call voted in the affirmative.
