CCRPC forwards draft FY2025 UPWP and budget to full board for review

The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission Joint Finance and Executive Committee reviewed the draft FY2025 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and budget and voted to send a revised draft to the full CCRPC board for review, not approval.
Executive Director Charlie Baker walked members through revenue changes, proposed increases and funding shifts across sectors and described staffing-related cost pressures. Members asked staff to add a "comment" field to budget line items so staff can explain individual entries in the next iteration.
Committee members discussed salary and benefits increases and potential personnel policy changes that could affect the budget. Jeff Carr moved that the committee send a revised draft FY2025 UPWP and budget to the full CCRPC board for review, not approval; Jacki Murphy seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
Next steps: staff will prepare a revised draft for board review and present redline personnel-policy changes at the May meeting, when absent members can participate.
