The Big Horn County Commission approved payment of the second half of opioid-abatement funds to the Northern Wyoming Treatment Court on March 4 following a quarterly report from program director Sabrina Burke.
Burke presented the quarterly report and said the program had used opioid-abatement funds as planned. The commission reviewed the program’s censuses and approved releasing the remaining funds; commissioners also discussed moving Treatment Court operations to the courthouse basement to consolidate services and make use of county space.
Burke said she could move the program and expressed appreciation for the county’s support. The commission recorded the approval in the meeting minutes and did not attach additional conditions in the discussion recorded at the meeting.
