CCRPC to pilot Vermont Zoning Atlas; county boot camp planned in June

Taylor Newton described a local effort to produce a Vermont Zoning Atlas modeled on a national project. A group of Ph.D. students at UVM and Middlebury will lead the effort and will use Chittenden County as a pilot. CCRPC will host a zoning atlas boot camp in June and expects the county atlas to be complete by the end of June; municipal planners were invited to provide quality control and feedback before publication.
Newton said the student team will continue work across the rest of the state over the summer after completing the county pilot.
